Practice, Firearms training affordable air gun

There are several important reasons for using air guns as tools firearms training. Air guns are inexpensive to purchase and use, can be easily and safely used, even at home, and are exempt from most state and federal laws firearms.

The question of cost is, of course, the most obvious benefit to their use. Achieving (and maintaining) skills shooting with firearms, including base requires a great deal of regular practice. Our armed forces have used air guns only and / or modified at different times of urgent need to train combat troops quickly and inexpensively. One such episode took place during the first stages of our involvement in World War II, when training resources are stretched to the limit.

The excellent results were obtained using this training method relatively inexpensive and extremely safe, even with the recruits who had never fired a gun before entering the service. The system, incidentally, was dubbed "Quick Kill "and eventually marketed commercially by Daisy Manufacturing Co. as a full film program, including the gun without vision goggles, ammunition and goals with the name "Quick Skill."

Some of our former adversaries also relied on airguns to train new troops. A example of this brings us back to the earliest years of the Third Reich in Germany. when Nazi youth and other paramilitary groups employed the Haenel model 33 air rifle and some of its clones, as a first step in teaching safety and marksmanship. The aforementioned air rifles were designed as true replicas of the Mauser Kar. 98 rifle latch, then in general use of the Wehrmacht, Waffen SS and other branches of the German armed forces.

The field of application of the law has also recognized the value of "power" training in recent years. SWAT teams and hostage rescue high-risk and anti-terrorist units have been used airguns often in the role of training. Paintball guns, in particular, have played an important part in the realistic type of training conducted for these special units.
