Small N Scale Layout
What is the smallest design theme for a N scale layout?
I have only one 20 "x 34" space.
Your maximum radius of a complete cycle, allowing some edge to the landscape is 9 inches. This is fine for standard cargo vehicles (40 'And 50'), but would be somewhat extreme pin cars long, and larger steam locomotives. All but the largest diesel engines should be well. A large switch design (no continuous loop) can do, or change within the loop, it would be interesting. A larger area can be available considering a platform design, mounted on the wall. Get the brush track many books for some ideas. Atlas and Bachmann have published free books monitoring plan (To sell your track, of course).
