Why is it important to learn the guitar scales
There have been plenty of talk about whether we, the players of the guitar, learn scales or not. The guitarist of the society was divided into two groups - those who think that learning scales is a waste of time and others who tend to overestimate the impact on the scales of the guitar.
although I am not a big fan of the scales, it is important that every player who learns and here is why.
1. Scales and chords and notes are part of the music. I would be wise to leave some of the music world behind, while learning to play.
2. The more you learn scales, gender and musical styles that are capable of. It opens a world of variety of music.
3. scales based learning speed and accuracy, which is a number of features of vital importance for guitar players.
4. The scales will open the magical world of improvisation. Many of the best players the world writes songs jamming and improvisation, maybe even improvise on stage, playing solos that are written on the spot.
Of course. learn all scales takes time and patience, but once you have mastered, there is no need to go back and relearn. And once you get into learning scales, should go further and learn all the positions of the scale on the neck, not just one position, thereby learning should have a little more, but the results worth punishment
So if you had any doubt about the scale of learning, do not hesitate to start learning immediately.
