N Gauge trains - The beginning of an adventure!
There are some initial things to consider when planning our model railroad layouts.
We have already made one of the most important decisions. Let's go with N gauge trains. Good choice!
Next we need to know is how much space we to work. Although the N Gauge paid to get pretty complex in a small area, I recommend what I did years earlier. I started with a 4 feet by 8 feet simple piece of plywood.
You will be amazed at how well the work zone and how creative you can be within those limits. However, due to wood Plywood can be quite flexible, you will want to build a frame on the bottom of the timber along the edges and then add some legs.

I know a lot of people also use the flexible track. There are some advantages also. You can bend the track to achieve some of the curves you may need. I, however, find it difficult to work with them. Maybe it was just me. However, you can go that route if you wish and I will not try to talk about it.
Whatever type you use, you must configure your tracking without securing and outline how you want everything to go together. The reason for this is you have to configure the ballast layer first.
Sidewalk will be of the variety of cork or vinyl. Does not really matter what you choose. But to get the is more authentic look, you have to put it. After obtaining the track roadbed and guaranteed we delve into the wiring.
Wiring is an issue itself as a landscape or train cars. I can say that AC is for accessories. CC is for the tracks.
You used to be able to simply wire up the tracks and the train leaves. That remains true, if you want a circle around the tree type of thing. If you want to use diversions and other seems more realistic, then you need to know about the track isolation.
