Model Train Parts
If you choose to write a book with acts, does it have to have three acts?
I'm writing a futuristic story about a girl who is training to become a Valigent, any trained officer a part of the Galactic Union. The Galactic Union is a group of planets that have Valigents to fight crime throughout the Milky Way Galaxy.
I plan on calling the Acts "Missions" but I think there will probably be five acts.
Can i use five acts? Or should i stick to the more acceptable 3-Act model
Five acts sounds fine.
But if you want 3-acts:
Maybe you could have three Main Acts, then have sub-acts within those main 3-acts.
But I'd go with however many acts I want.
