I need help can just set up a Lionel train and if I can make it bigger and add two trains on a circuit tramsformer marked with a van that still
The answer to your question is not exactly simple. First, two trains running on the same track is not exactly easy, but you can do. It's hard to get synchronized so that both are in the same direction at the same time, so the easiest thing to do is to block only two ahead with the switch. Moreover, short of modern locomotives with automatic speed control (Lionel called "Odyssey") be very, very difficult to get the two to travel the same speed. You have to experiment with different numbers of cars behind each to obtain the speed to match. This is true even if both engines are identical, identical locomotives, depending on manufacturing tolerances and the amount of theft, probably will not run the same either. As to need another processor, this is also a complicated issue. Many of the new Lionel train sets come a two processors, 40-watt "Powermax" CW80 or 80 watts, two look virtually identical from the front, although the Powermax will only with two connections on the back, where the CW-80 has four. The Powermax more than likely not have enough power to run two locomotives under any circumstances. The CW80 could run two modern, can only motorized locomotives, assuming you do not have all the accessories and maintain the number of cars burning on the subject to a minimum. Add a motor engine twice in the mix, or an older engine with open framework, and probably will be without power. Fortunately, however, there is nothing wrong experiment with the limits of the processor, since both the CW-80 and have excellent built Powermax circuit breakers. If you find that you are running out of energy, you need a larger transformer. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO CONNECT TWO TRANSFORMERS AT THE SAME TRACK. Doing so may cause damage to one or two processors, and could even cause fire. Do not. Unfortunately, Lionel and not a conventional transformers of any size from 80 watts of CW-80, and full-size 360 watts ZW. The best mid-range set in current production is a Powermaster, combined with a remote control CAB-1 and either 135 or 180 watts watts Powerhouse. This will give away control operations. Alternatively, you can get a larger, renovated Lionel transformer. The KW is a great choice, and 190 watts, will be a lot of energy. An old ZW, either with 250 watts or 275 watts, is also a great choice, and not much more expensive than a KW.
