Lionel Train Sets Pre

pre war Lionel train sets?

Trying to find information on the value of my grandfathers old train sets, for free if possible.
What I know is they are pre war, 0 guage.
One set are numbers 616-618, complete with tracks and motor.
The other is red and silver and has New York Lines written on the side.
Have accessories also, like train depot and so on.
Have exhausted myself doing fruitless internet searches!

Ebay, Model rr, O scale. Lionel. prewar, The common stuff is normally there.
The 616 may be the Yankee clipper. These engines are sort of chained together by trucks. Not too impressive for detail but desirable.300 mint with boxes. Condition is everthing. Possibly 100 to 150 as a set. made in 1936 so you are right they are prewar.
Find a good bookstore that may have a price guide or spend the 20 bucks. If you sell you can add that too.
