Lionel Train Fabric

Niel Diamond, a friendship Remembered
My story begins as ETS'd (End of service time), USAF (United States Air Force), while living in Las Vegas, and continued to live there for another 6 years and older. This would have been in the mid 1980's, and I was anticipating some work to non-Air-Force, if know what I mean: I wanted to put some clothes out in the clothing line a bit more than usual, that's it, let the wind infuse and permeate the fabric, make smell military, not a bad smell, however, just different. I just wanted something different. So I went and took and passed the test, and when people asked me where he worked, or what I did, I could say "I am a letter sorter with the USPS (United States Postal Service), man-Well, that lasted only six months! since I could not "pass the test," ie, completing the last requirement to become a LSM (Letter-sorting machine that my life was full of acronyms and evidence it seems) the operator, but was able to get ahead and click OK, then as a postman.

He said "yeah right, you know Don Johnson? "It was quite large in time, I think." No, a musician, "he said, and I started naming names - none of them right, so I finally I said "Neil Diamond." Well, although I was not a die-hard fan, I was more into Rock-n-Roll, with favorites such as Boston, The Eagles, Styx, Fog hat, etc, no pop-I knew a little diamond songs like Cherry, Cherry, Women Kentucky, Shiloh, Forever In Bluejeans, Sweet Caroline and a song I hated at the same time, turn the heart of light, which has played continuously on the local radio at the time, came into the mind, but was still duly impressed ...
