Ho Math is a special concept and method of teaching mathematics based on the game specially designed for primary students (from kindergarten to grade 7). It was invented in Canada by a Canadian mathematics professor Frank Ho.

How Ho Math was invented?

 

Below is a brief description by Mr. Frank Ho.

When I was a teenager, I went to a few centers of learning as a general purpose and some specialty centers of learning (English only) and also went to the house of my master to prepare for junior high input test. The purpose of these centers Learning is for one simple reason which is to put students with test questions that students can get higher grades, there is no real mission. I learned that the progress of some children were very slow or stagnant, even though how hard they tried to explain concepts or teach again and again. I discovered a major contributing factor that caused the problem and it promotes change the way they teach. I found that math students weak tendency to not like the IQ type questions and the condition is reversed for strong math students on the condition of these questions not even require any knowledge of mathematics than analyzing, comparing, sorting or grading. This tells me that weak math students may have a problem that their brains are not trained or qualified to do math problems (and I do not want to do math problems well.) Because of this discovery, Today Ho Math program has 5 main components:
