•   Capability to connect to a postage meter – To further enhance the usefulness of the postal scale, digital types have the ability to link to directly link to postage meters. Some require special connectors and this should also be considered in terms of cost and availability.
•   Accounting features – This feature is very useful when charges will be made to clients or departments. This allows automatic credit to an account as each envelope or package is weighed.
