Model Railroading - Scales

The National Association of Railroad Models (NMRA) is an organization that sets and regulates standards for scales model railroad. This standardization helps the universal fondness for Model Trains that can be relatively interchangeable parts for all brands.

Basics scales

Simply established scale, the model railway is the ratio of the model to reality, or prototype. Usually shown as a ratio such as 1:48. Z Scale - Z Scale 1:220 arrives at and is very small, making it extremely versatile and manageable for anyone who lack a large area to display it.

Landscapes, buildings and accessories

With all scales of model trains is the accompanying landscapes , buildings and accessories. Make sure everything about your train is adjusted in proportion to it.
