Drawing Electrical Training

Google SketchUp vs. AutoCAD?
I have some basic questions about SketchUp and AutoCAD. I am totally new 3D software and intend to enroll a course in AutoCAD before finding SketchUp and found some self-training with free tutorials disabilities could give me some good before going to the stage more advanced. My question is: Is it possible to transfer without any problems (insects, etc) a 3D file for Autocad SketchUp and continuing work in AutoCAD, or vice versa? What would be the best way for someone like me (who knows almost nothing) to start? and ... What would be best to start drawing pictures for someone with time to design plans of heavy equipment, primarily electric? Thank you very much.
Yes I can do this all the time. But Sketchup is not very good for the correct wording. I'd rather do it in 3D in AutoCAD and then import it into SketchUp and continue working there. you concentrate on Auto CAD. bcos, in line work, accuracy is important. Electrical equipment may not be guessing. well, do 2D drawings for your product, and then turn it into 3D using Extrude and Boolean. Once you've done with that, take sketchup (usually Trake in 3ds max) and his presentation there. by the way I am a architect.but do not think our lines are very different in the sense of writing. PS we are. There are some possible topics, while importing from SketchUp to AutoCAD. I wouldnt call them mistakes, but Still, it's not always handy when ur is a large file. the same for any software that is compatible with auto cad
