Ray Traylor
Wrestling career
Early
Traylor, a prison guard in Cobb County, Georgia, made his debut in 1985, initially working in the world of Jim Crockett's promotion as Championship Wrestling a talent for improvement under his full name, Raymond Traylor. Seeing the potential of Traylor, head booker Dusty Rhodes pulled him off TV for 12 weeks in order to return to package it as Big Bubba Rogers, a bodyguard of silence for Jim Cornette, who along with the Midnight Express was a feud with James Boys (Dusty Rhodes Magnum TA and under masks). Rose a solid push a seemingly unstoppable villain and a feud with Rhodes, who was the top babyface in that time a number of "no holds barred battle royal called the Bunkhouse Stampede in 1986. After the show, he and Rhodes were tied on wins, prompting a playoff game in the cage Rhodes, who emerged victorious. In 1987, he won the title of the Universal Wrestling Federation Gang a man who was dropping the belt after signing with the World Wrestling Federation's Vince McMahon.
World Wrestling Federation (19881993)
In 1988, Traylor joined the WWF under the name The Big Bossman, on the basis of their previous profession. Bossman made his debut on pay-per-view SummerSlam defeating Koko B. Ware. Bossman had an impact when he attacked Hulk Hogan on Brother Love Interview segment, Hogan thrashing them with his baton in October 1988 on WWF Superstars of Wrestling. As a villain, challenged Hogan for the WWF Championship and also joined Akeem, the former One Man Gang to form the Twin Towers. The Twin Towers beat The Rockers at WrestleMania V and feuded with Demolition for the Tag Team Championship. In the May 27, 1989 edition of Saturday Night's Main Event, he and Hogan faced off in a memorable game Steel Cage for the WWF Title in which Hogan Superplex pound Traylor 350, the top of the cage.
Later became a fan favorite in early 1990 in The Brother Love Show after refusing to give Ted DiBiase his Million Dollar Championship belt back after DiBiase had paid for Slick Bossman to retrieve the belt of Jake "The Snake" Roberts python bag that also held Jake. Bossman refused to make a payment and returned the bag with the strap and Jake the Snake Roberts. After this change was fought with former teammate Akeem, defeating him at least two minutes at WrestleMania VI. He joined Hogan 1990 Survivor Series, along with "Hacksaw" Jim Duggan and tug, beating teams earthquake. He also opposed the faction of the family Bobby Heenan Heenan after Heenan made remarks about the mother of Chief of man. Boss Man defeated Heenan wrestlers such as The Barbarian in the Royal Rumble and Mr. Perfect via disqualification at WrestleMania VII for the Intercontinental Championship with Andre the Giant. Boss Man then began several, short-term fiefdoms, first defeating the party mounted a prison at SummerSlam with The Mountie having to spend a night in jail. Another dispute was with Nailz Nailz in 1992 will attacks with a club that kept him sidelined for several months, when Bossman returned he went after his enemy and defeated Nailz in a nightstick in a polo match at Survivor Series. He lost his last PPV match Bam Bam Bigelow in the 1993 Royal Rumble before leaving the WWF in March.
World Championship Wrestling (19931998)
After leaving the WWF in 1993, Traylor had a brief stint in All Japan Pro Wrestling where he was paired with Stan Hansen and "Dr. Death" Steve Williams, before returning to the United States to work for World Championship Wrestling. Traylor was originally known as The Boss, but WWF's legal department determined the character to be very similar to that Traylor was portrayed in the WWF and WCW have to change it. As a result, Traylor became the guardian angel. He feuded with Big Van Vader for most of 1994. Soon, Traylor back heel and returned to its original Big Bubba Rogers. He defeated Sting at Uncensored in March 1995. Big Bubba joined the Dungeon of Doom faction before the end of defect to the nWo. Over time, a gap in the Bubba contract forced him out of the nWo. As a result, Bubba became a face again and began competing under his real nameay Traylor and was briefly addressed by Ted Dibiase old enemy, who also recently left the nWo. Often worked with the Steiner Brothers during this period of time. He began a feud with the nWo, defeating as several members of nWo Scott Hall, Curt Hennig, and Vincent.

Smackdown Traylor in 1999 as large Bossman.
Finally, Traylor returned to the WWF in the October 12, 1998 episode of Raw is War, once again with his Big Bossman person, but wearing a SWAT uniform instead of a policeman of his age. His trick was modified from a "police" in a security officer bully personal, bodyguards or character type, willing to do anything a price. He immediately established as a top of the character card means, quite a contrast to the lower status in the middle of the card that was in WCW just weeks before. Was introduced as a member of The Corporation, a group of fighters controlled by the WWF owner Vince McMahon to fight Stone Cold Steve Austin and D-Generation X, as "personal security" of the Corporation. During his time as a member of the Corporation, Boss Man won the Championship with Ken Shamrock and won the Hardcore Championship four times. While still a member of the Corporation, Bossman competed at WrestleMania XV, against Undertaker in a Hell in a Cell, as 'Taker beat Bossman within the cell and "hung" Bossman in a cage, leaving him suspended about 15 feet in the air.
Most of their games in the hardcore division were part of his feud with Al Snow. At one point, the story involved Pepper the dog. At SummerSlam, the couple fought in a match that never reached the ring, but instead poured into the backstage area, the street, and finally in a nearby bar. Just before the match, the snow was observed Pepper company setting dog near the door. Minutes in the game, Boss Man picked the company, laughed at the dogs, snow hit the vehicle, and carelessly threw it behind him. Announcer Jim Ross immediately apologized for the stunt, and confirmed on the air that Pepper had been removed from the box before the match.
Two weeks later, Pepper was taken from the story when he was killed kayfabe by the Boss Man, who deceived the snow to feed your pet. The story concludes with a deposit of Hell match at Unforgiven. The cage surrounded the ring, with a second covered cage surrounding the ring area. The men begin in the ring, with the first man to escape both cages to be declared the winner. Between the two cages were a series of attack dogs.
After this, he feuded with The Big Show in the WWF Championship. The feud included a promo where Boss Man appeared in kayfabe father's funeral, Big Show (his father had died earlier this year) and proceeded to steal Show's father's coffin for fraud to the back of his car and driving off. In a desperate attempt to stop the robbery, The Big Show jumped over the coffin as it was being towed, mounted on top of the coffin a few feet until he lost his balance and fell out. Also during the angle, the Bossman uttered the popular line, though often misunderstood, "I know that Paul Wight, you're a nasty bastard and Mom said yes! "Months after the fight ended, Big Show was wearing a shirt with the phrase" Big Nasty Bastard "on it. Bossman became in the # 1 contender for the WWF Championship on November 15, 1999 edition of RAW. This feud ended with Boss Man to be defeated by Big Show at Armageddon payment vision.
Boss Man took part in the game, 2000, the Royal Rumble. Rikishi eliminated Boss Man (with five stars otherwise), Chyna and Faarooq before being eliminated by The Rock. In the March 19 edition of Sunday Night Heat, Boss Man and Bull Buchanan presented his protg. Formed a team that lasted until summer, when Buchanan left Bossman to seek fame as a solo star. This search did not last long and quickly joined to the right to Censor faction. Big Bossman and Bull Buchanan defeated The Godfather and D'Lo Brown at WrestleMania 2000 and defeating the Acolytes Protection Agency next month at Backlash. The team split on June 5 edition of Raw is War. After they lost to the Hardy Boyz, Buchanan and Boss Man began to discuss what led to shoving and eventually Boss Man cancellation of Buchanan with his club on his return from Buchanan turned.
In the summer of 2000, disappeared from the current Bossman television main WWF and fought mainly in Jakke and heat, mainly competing with Crash Holly. When Traylor returned from an injury in late 2001, was given a role as a teammate of Booker T, simply as The Boss Man Boss Man was a performer again, only this time with Booker T in the order of Vince McMahon. The division team quietly in late January 2002, and from there Boss Man fought mostly in Jakke and heat. In April, he teamed up short tags lived with Mr. Perfect after both were sent to the Raw brand. In May 2002, he competed in his last WWE match, losing to Tommy Dreamer. Traylor was assigned to train new fighters Ohio Valley Wrestling before being released from WWE in 2003.
Back to WWE
After leaving WWE last round of matches Traylor were in a tournament for the vacant International Wrestling Association of Japan heavyweight title. He did it all the way to the final before being defeated by his former rival Jim Duggan.

Traylor died in home after a heart attack in Dallas, Georgia on September 22, 2004, while visiting his sister. He was 41 years old.
